Boyan Slat, founder and president The Ocean Cleanup "I have invented a method to clean up almost half of the great Pacific's garbage patch in just 10 years, using the currents to my advantage." Boyan Slat first presented his ideas during a TEDx Talk in Delft, which has inspired many people to assist him in working out his ideas. He was recognized as one of the 20 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs Worldwide (Intel EYE50). On 16 and 17 June Boyan has been invited to attend "Our Ocean", an international conference hosted by The Honorable John F. Kerry, Secretary of State of the United States of America. By speaking about his ideas, Boyan wants to inspire the world to join him on his mission. But the oceans won't get clean by means of just a great idea. The Ocean Cleanup aims to not only study the solution, but actually develop the world's first feasible approach to gyre remediation, by using the ocean's currents to its advantage. So there is much more work to be done. IAMECO Warrior ask everyone to help them in making it happen by following The Ocean Cleanup on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter and ask people to share if they care! Want to back the world's first feasible Ocean Cleanup concept? Want to find out how you can join in cleaning our oceans?
